Valentine's Day

 Thank you to the room reps and volunteers for making our Valentine's Day special.  We enjoyed snacks, a craft, games, and a story.  The kids were so proud of the handmade Valentine's you all sent in.  Enjoy the photos below.  

Our Favorite Project Using the App Explain Everything

The children have had several opportunities to share their learning with others by using an app called Explain Everything. In addition to learning social science and science content such as lifecycle and important people in history. We have practiced reading strategies, using non-fiction text feautures, to help us understand what we have read. We have also learned that Explain Everything is a wonderful app that can allow us to share our learning with many tools. We have used the internet to research topoics and located images. Then we have used presentations skills by recording our voices to share our learning. Watch and enjoy.
